Which SOLVER product do I need?

It depends on what you play and what you want help with. If you play salary-cap DFS on DraftKings or FanDuel and want to build lineups , you want the DFS Optimizer . If you want to test lineups before you enter them, you want the DFS Simulator . Most Simulator users build their lineups in the Optimizer first. If you want to track your results , the DFS Bankroll Tracker is free. If you play best ball on Underdog or DraftKings, the Draft Assistant helps you during the draft and the free Best Ball Explorer helps you manage your teams after. Still not sure? What is the difference between the Optimizer and the Simulator?

The Optimizer is a tool for creating new lineups based on criteria you define. The Simulator is a tool for seeing how lineups perform in a DraftKings or FanDuel contest. In practice, most people use them together: build a pool of lineups in the Optimizer, then sim that pool in the Simulator and enter only the lineups that rate well. Is any of it free?

Yes. The DFS Bankroll Tracker and the Best Ball Explorer are free. All you need is a SOLVER account, and no credit card is required. The DFS Optimizer, DFS Simulator, and Draft Assistant are paid subscriptions.

How much does THE SOLVER cost?

Each paid product is priced per sport, so you only pay for what you play. The NFL Optimizer starts at $37.99/month, with other sports priced individually and an All Sports bundle available. The DFS Simulator starts at $25.99/month for the Single Lineup Simulator. The Draft Assistant starts at $34.99/month for NFL. Monthly and longer-term plans are available. The DFS Optimizer builds lineups for DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, DraftStars, and SuperDraft, and supports NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Golf, and 10+ sports across dozens of leagues. The DFS Simulator works with DraftKings and FanDuel contests for NFL and Golf. The Bankroll Tracker syncs DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo results (SuperDraft and Draftstars by file upload). The Draft Assistant and Best Ball Explorer work with Underdog and DraftKings drafts; the Explorer also supports Drafters.

Do I need an Establish The Run subscription?

No. The DFS Simulator was built in partnership with Establish The Run and uses ETR's analysis, but no ETR subscription is required to use it. The DFS Optimizer comes with our own Default projections for most sports, and you can also upload your own projections or sync a partner's. The Draft Assistant can optionally sync ETR rankings and projections, which does require a separate ETR subscription.

Who is behind THE SOLVER?

A group of longtime fantasy sports players including the founders at Establish The Run and an experienced group of software developers created these products. The goal is to create software tools that make it easy for fantasy sports players to compete at a high level. To be clear, this is a separate product and company from Establish The Run. THE SOLVER plans to work with as many fantasy sports content sites as possible.
